TEMPLATE

Write a useful infrastructure brief.

A concise requirements brief helps providers confirm whether a practical configuration exists and what it will actually cost.

Illustration of digital infrastructure planning

General information only. Confirm technical and commercial details with the relevant provider and qualified advisers.

Describe the workload

Explain what the application does, expected user patterns, peak and steady traffic, important dependencies, and anticipated growth.

Specify compute and storage

List known CPU, memory, storage capacity, IOPS, redundancy, and operating-system requirements. Mark measured facts separately from estimates.

Define network and market needs

Include traffic direction and amount, address needs, private connections, user regions, latency sensitivity, and any data-location requirements.

Request written service terms

Ask for configuration, setup and recurring charges, bandwidth terms, lead time, management scope, support coverage, SLA if offered, renewal, and cancellation details.
